Is it normal for OOTP-files to be designated as .png-files? I'm trying to copy and paste mod-files into the OOTP-folder but I get an error message from WinRAR.

Yes..depending on what files you're talking about.
So what's winrar's error message??
Are you pulling the files directly out of winrar or trying to extract it? I've found a couple of mods that winrar can't handle. That could be it.

I'm pulling the files directly from Winrar to the folder. The error message is something like (translated from Dutch): Winrar can only add files to RAR- or ZIP-folders.

I've seen this before, but it's usually been with those created with a mac and one other recently uploaded by a person whose name I forget.
Tell me what file you dl'd and where to get it and I'll see if I can figure it out for you.

It's the logos from Walrus. So far, I have only downloaded the MLB logos.

What about unzipping them somewhere else and then cut and paste?. I have had issues in the past in general doing it your way not just with OOTP, so I never unzip into a folder.

I went to ootpmods.com and opened capt.walrus circular and if that's the one you dl'd, I had no problem pulling the logos straight from the zip file with winrar. I have no clue why you can't.
Wait a sec....You say you're trying to copy and paste from the zip file...don't do that!! just select the .png and drag it to where you want to put it..
