Small problem with proj. budget.

So, I noticed that my projected budget is in the red and I'm projected to have no money left to extend contracts. It's at the start of the season. Is this going to be a problem for later? Would trading away a veteran help?

Nope.

You're pretty much screwed. But look at it this way...It's always fun to start-up a new league, right?

If you're going to trade away a veteran do it as soon as possible before teams use up all their budget room too. I find that early season trades are much more frequent than trade dealine trades for this very reason. Anyhow good luck.

And still having to start anew at the end of the season?

The "restarting the season" part was a joke. That is why honorable pawn used the smiley face. The remainder was a legit solution.

In commissioner mode you can edit your teams budget as another option. It all depends on what style of gameplay you are looking for.

Well, I think I already know what mistake I made. I think it's a free agent that cost me too much money and wanted to have an insurance season. Also a veteran by the way. I'm going to start all over with the same team.

No need to start all over unless you just don't love your league.

Play through the mistake or maybe, just maybe, he has some trouble with the law and you have to "retire" him.
