I've flunked the basic OOTP intelligence test ...
... because I can't integrate the player photos into the game. I downloaded the photos, but I'm never able to get them to show up in the game. Not the end of the world, I suppose, but the game would be a lot more appealing if I could actually get those player photos in place.

The following info is for real player pics and not facegen. Facegen is different unless they are already converted to png or jpg.
Very simple to get the real player photos to show. go to your saved games news\html\images\person_pictures and delete everything Except the default_profile_picture.png pic. Now start the game and click "Preferences". Then click the facegen tab and set the Picture Search Mode to "Search for photo first". Load you saved game. It'll regenerate the player photos and you'll have the real pics. |

Thanks.
I have everybody in my 1953 showing -- except Gil Hodges. For some reason, I cannot get a picture of him to show. I have an image of him, but it simply won't appear. Strange. |

The only reason that pic won't show is either it's not a true png, jpg, or the naming isn't correct. Make sure his pic is named gil_hodges
You can test this by following these steps. 1. Make a copy of your gill_hodges pic. 2. Go to his player profile page and click the edit tab. 3. Note the player id number. 4. Rename the copy of his pic to "player_id number" and move it to your saved games news\html\images\person_pictures folder. Example: Let's say his pic is a jpg and his id # is 1234, rename his pic player_1234.jpg 5. His pic should show now (you might have to click the pictures tab and select auto reload pic). If it does, then the naming is incorrect. If it doesn't, somethings wrong with the format. |
