Which we all know is there own fault for not making any money! Problem for SI games if they release this game for freeware then Riz will have to leave and start working on the new EHM version

TBL is amazing. Im just home from work and about to start a fresh game of EHM running the original TBL-Unfaking database, the best database ever!

um the creator of EHM is now with OOTP........But EHM while in depth and good did have problems after the first season of play.

zyberianwarrior, of course EHM had it's problems. What game doesn't? Sadly we do not live in a world of perfection.

Now with that said, i expect WTH Manager to be perfect.

I was never a fan of soccer until I gave Football Manager a try.

EHM had a lot of problems. It was released too fast, I'm guessing because of the possibility of good sales figures and it turn out to be a total bust. The pirates alone didn't kill the game, some blame has to be thrown to the people behind it.

The database was not and still is not "releasable" after volunteers have fixed the main parts of it for five years. Sure, you can play it, but the thrill of a game wears out pretty fast when the rest of the database (Before any patches were released to EHM 2007) was copied from EHM, which was released in 2003. And even with patches the DB is messy as hell.

Anyways, since this is a topic for the OOTP Hockey, I have only one thing to say to the great people behind all this. Take your time to make sure that the game is ready to be released. Don't let our ranting and yelling about the excitement, waiting for this game, set you off course and release the game too early. Please. Don't do the same mistakes that the people behind EHM did.

Same here. If it wasn't for Football Manager 2006, I never would have thought twice about soccer. In fact, it was EHM that got me into FM. So I guess you could say that's at least five extra sales for Sports Interactive, thanks to EHM (FM '06, '07, '08, '10, and '12). It's a shame that doesn't show up on EHM's "what have you done for us lately" report

Developers said they haven't any plans of offering preorders for FHM.
