I could be wrong, but the .6 may have been the beta that was released a while back.

Sorry for the confusion - version 13.6 was the public beta.

Unfortunately the scouting task addition is useless.

Just wondering if anybody else has had this issue: since the update, every batter that's been hit by a pitch has been injured, usually for a minimum of 3 weeks (after diagnosis pending for a day or few).

I just tested this a little further by getting a pitcher to deliberately hit a batter, and yep, each time they were injured.

Prior to the patch, it was very rare for a batter to get injured when hit by a pitch (happened occasionally, and if so, varied between dtd to severe).

This happening for anybody else?

Is there a way that you can still import one player at a time, without having to create a text file for each individual player?

I was wondering if you unchecked the enable injuries box, if you still had injuries at a lesser rate. I'm considering dropping this latest patch and going back to the last one.

Yes, I've seen four or five and its only May. Also, the scout task list doesn't appear to work...only one player shows up at a time.

I have seen this as well. For now I have turned off injuries and cranked up Fatigue. UGH! Live and learn. I won't be installing any patches on a Friday ever again. Yeah, I need to get a life, but OOTP is my main weekend entertainment.

Yes, and it's very easy to test. Sim a week and sort stats so you just see hbp. Use splits to show stats in the last week and all the injuries can be seen.

Is this being done in order to try and recreate the Adam Greenberg incident? (BTW, great story and I am excited for the guy).

Hey Guys,

I have logged both issues - the Scout Task List and the HBP bugs for Markus to look at ASAP.

Please continue to post your issues with this patch in this thread and they will be checked out and possibly logged.

Thank you,

I ran sims this morning in both Dog Days and the PCBL, and yes, I see an undue number of injuries involving being HBP. These range from day-to-day to longer term injuries. I have not gone through to confirm that every batter hit by a pitch was injured, but this situation clearly led to a dramatic increase in injuries.

Hey Guys,

Markus has been contacted and he will be taking down the link to the new patch/update ASAP. The HBP bug has been fixed and we are working on getting a new build. We do apologize for any inconvenience these issues have casused.

It is every player, but I think that's been confirmed. In my league, we were in our first week, so it was easy to tell -- every player with an HP ended up with an injury (though som DTD had already been recovered). I cleared them all and thankfully minor league games hadn't started or I would have had a lot more work to do.
