trade deadline plz help
im trying to figure why the trade deadline isnt working.. it always pops up on july 31 about the trading deadline.. yet i continue to receive trade offers and read about other players making trades after the deadline

Those are waiver trades. Players must clear them for them to be traded. If one of your competitors is involved try claiming one of the players to block it. Same as the Beckett / Gonzalez to LA trade a few weeks back.
