Next Generation Baseball (NGB): 2012 Real Rosters League

DenverZeppo and I are putting together a real rosters league based on the interest expressed in the aptly titled Modern Day League Interest? thread.

We're still discussing the exact parameters but you can expect a fairly straight forward run-of-the-mill real rosters league. We are looking to be a more active league with a lot of message board participation. Tentatively we plan to have three 7-day sims a week. Please put forward any questions in this thread so we can incorporate them in our planning.

We're still looking for several owners, if scared off by weird ratings in the past, the HTML has been updated to show with scouts off

Please check out the constitution and then fill out a league application on the forum.

Hello,

I am Billy Beane IV on the forums, I just created an account today. I tried to send this as a private message, but I haven't figured out how to use the forums just yet. I have been playing OOTP offline for 2 years, and I am interested in taking ownership of the Oakland Athletics in the NGB. I've grown pretty tired of rebuilding teams with little difficulty in the offline mode, as the artificial intelligence in the game is not true intelligence. I want to compete with real people for a real challenge. I would love to be a part of this league, despite my lack of online experience. I understand the need to communicate with people in the league (to make appointments for playing out games) and contribute goodies (news articles, statistical analysis, etc.) to the league page. I am confident that I can add a lot to the league, and I hope that my application (if that is what this is) is accepted. My email is BillyBeaneIV@gmail.com.
