Re-Signing Players

I have started a new season with the 1950 Cleveland Indians. I am wanting to re-sign some of the players but there is no button or option that lets me. When I right click on the player or when i go to their profile it doesnt say offer extension/contract. I have no idea how to check if free agency is enables in my league. Any help?

Is reserve clause checked? If it is(League Menu - League Setup - Financials) then you can not offer extensions to players and superstar players will get extensions by the AI.
If reserve clause is not in play, are you the one controlling Cleveland. Under Manager Options are you the one that has control to resign players or the AI.
Try putting yourself in Commish Mode and see what you can do.
