COBOL (Month-at-a-time fast sim league)

From the creator of FOOL, the first OOTP fast-sim league and SLOP, the iteration of fast-sim with the mid-season break (tm) comes a new & improved fast-sim concept for those who want to play fast, but at a slower pace than ever before.

Champions Official Baseball Offseason League or COBOL is the a fast-sim concept that plays one month at a time.

Here's the other features of COBOL:

- 24 teams (2 subleagues of 12 teams with two divisions of 6)
- Division champs qualify for playoffs (LCS best of 7, The Ashes Series (Best of 9)

The league schedule would essentially operate on a 20-day cycle with sims every other day through the regular season & playoffs. The off-season would operate over an entire week. So essentially it'd sim one full calendar year in-game per real-life month. Providing the patented immersion of typical fast-sim, without the breakneck pace that might not appeal to everyone.

The league will be set to begin in 1979, but the financials will be set to modern, static financials to ensure consistency across the eras.
