Setting #of hitters/pitchers on active roster

I want more pitchers on my active roster. Where do I change this?

You have to mess with the stamina and use of relief pitchers.

DW means there is no way to set how many hitters or pitchers you can have the AI run teams have on their teams. Forgot who brought it up, but it's another thing many of us want for 14 to set that.

I'm guessing we're, and the OP, talking about some automatic adjustment or setting? Obviously, there are no restraints to simply 'having' 14 pitchers and 11 hitters by simply making those choices. The AI won't follow suit, of course those are setting-oriented.

This is badly needed and long overdue. Having a third catcher especially where the AI uses the backup C as DH is almost as important.

Stamina - normal
Relievers - very often

I actually raised my roster from 25 to 33 and the game still only uses 11 pitchers on the active roster. I guess I have to manually add.

The AI seems to only ever have at most 12 pitchers on the active roster. I think this needs some work for OOTP 14. I find it hard to believe that if MLB raised the roster limit to 30 IRL that teams would have 12 pitchers and 18 hitters. It'd be more like 14 / 16 or 15 / 15.

Oh, agreed on that point. Occasionally, the AI will still use my backup catcher in LF! Thankfully, it's usually a PH late in the game, but still.

Try playing deadball. Pitching staffs are very small and you end up with 18 or 19 position players. Lowering roster size to get rid of position players is not an option, unless you want teams to have no relief pitchers whatsoever.
