.php script - mySQL database problem

OK - I am trying to create an online league, and I am having trouble getting the .php script to work (the script to upload the .tar.gz archive to the MySQL database)

Here is the message I get when trying to run unpackreports.php

Please wait...
Command: tar xzf '/home/littl79/public_html/mlb/mlb-reports/reports.tar.gz' 2>&1: Successfully unpacked the reports.tar.gz file...

Select Database Error: 1044 : Access denied for user 'littl79_mlb'@'localhost' to database 'littl79_MLB'

Does anyone have any idea what on earth I might try next? I'm at my wits' end.

Sorry for the late reply.

It looks like you have your username and database named the same. Am I correct? If that is so, you capitalized one and did not capitalize the other when inputting the info into OOTP. These things are case sensitive, and even a stray space or a capital letter where one should not be will through things off.
