Why Should I Join?

MLB Pro launched in June 2012 under the goal of providing an authentic and unique simulation experience. Our members enjoy a fully immersive league that does not protect the weak, allows the best to thrive, all while providing a system of freedom that allows anyone to make it to the top. We are also proud to have hired Joe Simpson to write and report on the league. Joe is a 10-year veteran of simulation league writing and we feel he offers a tremendous amount to the realistic feel of our league. We also have regular podcasts from John Comey on the MLB Pro Radio network which you can find at the top under "News." Finally, we have a league Facebook and Twitter account and well over half of our teams have individual Twitter accounts.

We simulate one day, every day and that is what makes us truly special. We are only the second league to do this and we feel it allows us to provide the most realistic managerial experience available. By sticking to the same schedule as the MLB, we live and die with every day and every win is sweet. What Makes MLB Pro So Unique?

• A 'one day, every day' simulation schedule. We keep the exact schedule and pace as the MLB.
• Since openings are so rare, we also have a Nippon Japanese filler league for general managers on the waiting list to compete against the others on the waiting list. If there is ever the demand for it, we would consider adding a second foreign filler league.
• We have hired the 10-year veteran simulation sports reporter Joe Simpson to cover our league, including analysis, interviews, and investigative reporting.
• We have a radio network featuring 'The John Comey Show, where John Comey keeps you up to date on all the latest MLB Pro news.
• We utilize OOTP Online Utilities and are currently using it for running our draft, voting for All-Stars and will do the same for the league awards and the Hall of Fame (among other things.)
• We have a fully-functional website here.
  
  
• We are highly immersed with Twitter. We have a league Twitter account. We also have a trade rumors account. Over half of our teams also run individual accounts.
• We also have a Facebook page. We also have a great Social Media Director in Justin Jabs, who runs both our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
• Our Amateur Draft runs for two months (in real time) during April and May.
• I pride myself on being a dedicated commissioner. I do what I say I will do or I will have an explanation for why things aren't going as planned. I am patient. Most of all, I make my leagues as nice of a league to be in as possible. I try to make things easy to find so we can keep moving like an oiled machine. I won't stop trying to make my leagues the best around. That is my promise to you.
