Draft Scouting

Couple of quick draft questions:

How does "Request a Scouting Report" add to whatever information you typically have before the draft? How many players does your scout have the ability to re-scout before the draft?

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what the "request a scouting report" command does in general. It seems like it just reiterates what you already know about the player. Possibly it updates the potential of the player but I've never noticed a difference between the scouting report and the ratings of the player.

It does, if nothing else, give you an intermediate scouting assessment between the the in-season reports (4/1, 6/1, 8/1, 10/1). I like to use it for guys I've recently drafted and am thinking of promoting to the majors very quickly (usually MR)...I've heard of others using it for additional reports in advance of the draft, but I have not used it that way.
