Bundle or not to Bundle?

Hey, so I've been digging the historical seasons lately but I'm curious as to what happens when a bundle is purchased. Is it merely a cheaper option as opposed to buying a handful of seasons individually or does it act like the computer version and serve as a more realistic era-- that is, will the amatuer draft pool fill up with the actual players of that year since it is one "block" of years as opposed to one individual year followed by more fictional, user-driven seasons???

-Appreciate any help I can get

I could be wrong, but I think it's just a cheaper way to get multiple seasons. It would be really cool if the draft filled up with the actual players though!

Thanks, that's what I thought too probably because of the limitations in the app something like realistic draft pools might be hard to accommodate. It's a bummer but I'll take a discount when I can get it

PS: Mr. Developer guy, if you're reading this --awesome-- I was wondering if the amount of space certain features would take up is what's preventing them from being thrown into this app version. I tried the PC version and while I certainly wouldn't mind sacrificing features like facegen and the uber in depth minor league management, I would love to see some of the other wicked features present on a future update/app/purchase option in spite of any additional space it may take up. Other apps have already pushed the 1GB threshold and I think it's safe to conclude most if not all ootp junkies would welcome more bytes for the sake of more features

I agree. But considering that I have to close all my other apps to play it on my 4G iPhone with a reasonable response time, make it optional if you are doing a history replay. On my iPad though, bring it on, cuz that thing flyyyyyyyyyys!

The problem is not the size of the App, we could make it as big as we want. The problem is the memory we can use.

The iPad 1, 3rd Generation of iPods and the iPhone 3GS have only 128MB memory and we are only allowed a fraction of it (about 70MB before we get warnings). So yes, as soon as old devices are not supported anymore and we have more memory to work with we will use it.

We had very early talks about the 2013 version (yes, we will make one!) and one thing we consider is to make the iPad version (with the bigger screen size) a bit deeper (without to complicate it anymore).

Are you talking about adding leagues? That's the reason I don't like the full version...there's way too many leagues to worry about, which kills the OCD part of me and eats my time. With iOOTP I can still be OCD and not spend hours upon hours on the game.

I do agree with speedo dude about the league thing, but thanks for explaining something that I clearly didn't understand in the whole memory thing. I have no intention to come off as greedy and I'm sure the next version (which I'm stoked for by the way) will continue to be awesome, I was just always a little bumpuzzled when it came to ommitting some very awesome features that you guys already thought of for the computer version. And ive never gotten the chance to say this, but the fact that you are so attentive to your customers by personally answering our input is a testament to how good this game and the people that work on it are, so thanks for that
