United States of Baseball (Fictional / Writing)

The United States of Baseball is officially opening it's doors to the public. For the last week, we have been working hard on getting the website and the league file up. Our story is still a Work-in-Progress but it's coming along well.

This is what we have to offer..

A competitive league full of OOTP veterans...
A creative writing experience with full league support...
A Point system that rewards those who write...
A fresh start from a league that will last...
A great looking website and forums for people to communicate...
A dedicated commissioner who has run successful leagues in the past...

Basic Rules

Ratings: 1 - 10
Scouting: OFF
Coaching: OFF
# of Games: 120
DH Rule: ON
Salary Cap: YES

Sims: M - W - F (7 days)

The league will have a total of 16 teams, possibly looking into expansion sometime in the future. Currently, we have 10 members who have all spent considerable time with each other in other leagues. We have come together to form a fictional league that we feel can strive with creative writing. Writing is not forced upon members, it is optional, but we really encourage those who enjoy it to join the league.

We currently have 6 teams open...

Calgary Cowboys (IL - CDN)
Edmonton Inferno (IL - CDN)
Miami Capitals (IL - KAL)
Jacksonville Jackalopes (IL - KAL)
Los Angeles Diablos (AL - WEST)

The teams have all been given nicknames, jerseys, logos.. etc due to our story. To go into it briefly, the USoB was built after a war that destroyed parts of the U.S. Some states were sold to Canada and Cuba. The alignment of the divisions is there to reflect that. In the next week or so, we will have spotlights on all the cities explaining what they have done since the war. We would love to get a couple more creative writers on board to help create our story.
