How to...create the 2001 Kane County Cougars?
In 2001, the Kane County Cougars won the Midwest league with a record of 88-50. On their roster were Adrian Gonzalez, Miguel Cabrera, Matt Treanor, John Willingham, and Josh Wilson. (Also in the Midwest league that year were Jason Bay, Justin Morneau, Chad tracy, Grady Sizemore, Wily mo Pena, Chad Qualls, Oliver Perez, and Penyel Pinto)
In addition, the Florida Marlins had A.J. Burnett, Nate Robertson at Brevard County, and Josh Beckett at Portland. How do I go about setting this up in OOTP13? I see how to make a 2001 MLB season, but how about the minors and the prospects? |

Spritz created a DB from the year the players were drafted. So perhaps use his DB and import the players from 2001? Not sure if you can import players without major league exp even with that DB. I know normally you can not. |

There was a draft year database? I know there was a high school one where all the players enter the draft when they turn 18, you could try that.
Or start a 2001 historical and import all the players you want and put them onto the teams, will have to change some ages and ratings since they will be imported as when they made their mlb debut plus the AI will move players up or down as it sees fit so keep that in mind to. I've been hoping there is an option to buy set years in the game with full minors for that year |
