High School Age Drafting

Quick question.
How do I get my draft class each year to be only high school age ie 18-19?
I have no feeder league

Do i after i set up my game,
go into the setup screen
options

and for ages of created players put min 18 max 19 for example

I know if I start the league that way all my players at the start will be 18 and 19, but is this what the game engine looks for to make the age of players in the draft?|

Thanks

Not positive on this, I don't want to steer you wrong. But wouldn't you get just 18-19 if you set the age min at 18 and age max at 19? I know when I setup a league for min at 16 and max at 99 I had inaugural draft of 19 99 yr olds and had the 1st ammy draft of 20 99 yr olds and 35 16 yr olds.

hey game
just happen to be browsing the boards now

yes if i started my game from sratch like that- that would be my inaugural draft

my wonder is if i start a game- DO the inagural draft, then change the random creators

of course i can do a test game right now and see what happens

i will post back in a few minutes

Did the test
Posting so everyone will know

Yes that does work
Steps again

1- start your league as normal
2-after the inagural draft (or soon after set up if you have no draft)
change on the game setup-options screen to the MINIMUM and MAXIMUM ages you want in your draft) That is what will come up the rest of the way.

You can change the age min/max anytime you like, not just after creation. You might decide to do it 5 years in, it's still possible. Another of the beauties of OOTP, its flexibility.

You only have to change the age creation limits before the draft pool is created.

If you don't like the draft pool just delete it and recreate it and it'll use whatever player creation settings you have set up

yes the customization is what makes this game rock. we don't have to play someone else's game, but the one we want

questionthough- how to "recreate" a draft pool if you delete it? Do you have to go back to setup and sechedule the draft one day ahead. I don't see a function button somewhere that says recreate draft. Maybe i am missing it

When you create fictional players there is an option to make them draft eligble that will put them into the draft pool
