Baseball is Back in Baltimore!

I'll attempt to keep this updated as much as I can, but I thought that with the O's doing well, I'd try my hand at an O's dynasty in iOOTP 2012.

From the BNN: It's been talked about for several weeks, but now it's official. An agreement has been reached. and Moose Michaels is the new GM for the Baltimore Orioles. Upon looking at his club from top to bottom, Michaels very first move was to sign veteran starting pitcher Roy Oswalt to a one year, $7.5 Million deal to help bolster the starting rotation.

More to come as I complete what the rotation and line-ups should be.

It took me 4 years to win it all with the O's. I squeaked into the playoffs as wild card and played fundamental baseball to win each series. I had a good hitting team but nothing special. My pen was exceptional and my starters were lead by two young prospects who pitched their butts off. I think the secret to it all was I tried to field a good defensive team.

I played OOTP years ago and had so many dominant teams that rarely won the WS. This is what is really cool about the game. I thought I was building for a few years from the point this current team won it all but they got there a bit early. Just like real life it is a bit unpredictable
