Create my fantasy team?

I am new to the game and have purchased a couple of weeks ago. I have looked through a number of options but have not been able to figure out if possible to create a league with mlb players as it resembles my fantasy league, Is this possible? Or is the fantasy team only to consist of the generated players and not the MLB player? The fantasy league would have a total of 24 teams (12 in each league). Any place to look for help on this?

This may be the long way around, but I think this would work.

1) Start a 2012 MLB game (assuming those are the players you want).
2) Release all players.
3) Delete MLB.
4) Create your league.

You may have to delete all the fake players in the new league then do a draft. I'm not sure that will work, just brainstorming.
