One Day, While Exploring My World ...
I noticed some problems with my world. For example, it says that the city of Tokyo, Japan is in the "state" of Balears (wherever that is?). Yokohama is in Lindi, and there are others that don't seem quite right. In Mexico, the City of Leon is listed as being in the state of al-Ladiqiyah (which definitely doesn't sound right). The US and Canada seem okay but I'm not sure about the rest.
Is there anything, other than manually fixing, I can do for this? Is this part of the world.dat file? Could I create a dummy league and then copy the world.dat from that? Help! |

You may have edited your world_default.xml file. Or maybe you have an old version of OOTP 13. I think there were some issues like this with the initial release, but the first patch fixed them.
Other than this, I would suspect a corrupt database of some sort, and you may want to do a clean uninstall and reinstall. |

I had the same problem with one of my leagues in OOTP 12. Never did figure out why it happened or how to fix it. I was hoping this would be fixed in 13. Is this a league you had imported from OOTP 12? There was a thread on this in the OOTP forums called "Wrong Country", if I remember right, if you are interested.

This porblem was fixed in 12 with one of the last patchs but from the OP problems it sounds like it may be back. Is the league is an import and if so from what version? |

This league was originally created in OOTP11. I no longer have v11 installed, but I loaded the last version of this league in v12 and saw the problem existed then. As far as I know, I had all of the latest patches in v12 before I upgraded to v13. Is there any easy fix?

If the problem is there in 12 and wasn't fixed via the last patch then i'm not sure if there is really a fix.
Do you still have the league from 11, even without the game being installed as long as you still have the league folder you should be able to import. I'd try reimporting into 12 again and see if you can get a clean import then import into 13 When i had this problem in 12 it wouldn't show up until i saved the game then reloaded it otherwise it would appear to be fine, you might want to look into this as if it does import fine then i'd quickly import into 13, maybe this way you can get it to import without problems |

Very odd. Each time I open the game the Japanese Cities/State relationships are different and usually screwed up. I don't know if any of the other countries are messed up or not.
I tried copying the world_default.xml from a fresh install on another computer, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Thanks for the replies, though. It's not a total big deal if this is a little screwed up, but I'd like to eventually get this to work properly. |

Make a support ticket, they will get it fixed for you.
Was hard to recreate last year so be patient but in the end they fixed it last year so shouldn't be that hard this year |
