How many leagues do you have going?

Sorry if this has already been a thread, If so you can merge it if you want. but Right now I only have one MLB quickstart game going. But I'm thinking about doing 1 current league, 1 historic league and then maybe a Japanese League or something that way.. I've only been an OOTP player for this year and last year, so I'm basically finding new ways to keep myself interested.

I pretty much stuck to one league, with the full complement of support (AAA,AA,A) and all other access to player development and scouting.

I've been running one game (Dodgers 1977 to my current time of 1991), which I've migrated from OOTP10 to 13 over the past several (real-life) years and with each passing sim year spend more time looking and evaluating player stats with respect to my game situations.

I have found that my decision-making nous tends to take quantum leaps over time, taking me to another level of appreciation and GM success. I hit a lovely one the other day when my day-to-day catcher, Sandy Alomar, went on the D/L for a month and I plucked a guy from my AA team who covered nicely defensively and hit a decent catcher-level average of about .279 with low K ratio. Beautiful to have in a pennant run.

That, in itself, keeps me relatively distracted into the wee, wee hours after the wife and kids have retired...

For the first time in almost 9 years I'm down to only offline leagues, and only two of them. I was commissioner for 8 of those years and I think I burned myself out of that job at least lol. Now using OOTP only for my personal enjoyment in "what if" scenarios.

I have two offline leagues going, which has been my standard since the v8 days. I have one fictional league with three levels of minors, I play as both the human manager and GM, rarely simming any results. I also have a random debut league with a reserve roster where I primarily simulate results and just perform GM duties.

I've never tried any online leagues... mainly because I play OOTP in fits and spurts... going crazy with it for a few weeks, getting a bit burned out, and then not touching it at all for a few weeks.

I've got 3 going now: a carryover from v12, MLB 2011 that is now in 2022, a new MLB 2012 that is now in 2013, and I just started an FBL where I'm still in the inaugural draft. I'm going to start a NABA soon, either the expansion or fantasy-no history version, probably after I finish the FBL draft. Not sure if I'll maintain interest in all 4 but I really wanted to try both FBL and NABA. I ususally only have one or two going on at the same time.

I think I may be a little different because I play across multiple versions.

1. MLB-structured fictional league with full minors, college and high school feeders. Playing as Atlanta Braves. Started in 2005 season, now in 2045 season. OOTP 9.
2. MLB league, full minors. Playing as Atlanta Braves. Started in 2010 season with real rosters, now in 2019. OOTP 11.
3. Atlanta Braves historical replay with real transactions and lineups, no minors. Started in 1966, still in 1966. Slow going because schedule files are official schedules, not "as played", so I often have to stop to edit the schedule as I go along. Playing with NO financials; ratings, scouting, and develpment OFF. OOTP 12.
4. Canadian Baseball League-structured fictional league. Playing as London Monarchs. No minors, reserve rosters only. League evolution on for expansion. Started in 2003, now in 2004 (so I already outlasted the real one). OOTP 12, migrated to 13.
5. MLB league with full minors. Playing as Atlanta Braves. Just started with 2012 real rosters. OOTP 13.
6. Georgia Professional Baseball Association fictional league with full minors, college and high school feeders. Just started 1960 season with 1960 financials. Scouting off. OOTP 13.

Thanks for asking.

1 legaue.

Historical fiction. Follows the path of MLBs history starting from the founding of the Naitonal League in 1876, and I take a bit of creative license with the minor leagues.

I started it in OOTP11, got to 1968, but trashed it for the reserve era rules of OOTP12 and started again from 1876. Transferred it over into 13

It is 1936 now, and I am about to add my third minor league. I find it enough work/time playing just this one league to bother with another.

I have three leagues right now. 1) a fictional league started in 1900 that is all of the US. 2) a fictional league started in 2010 that is the US from the Pacific to the Rockies. 3) a fictional Washington State Baseball League association that has 8 leagues modeled after the WIAA high school baseball leagues.
