IceTea, I like the change you made on Cloud... Again subtle but spot on.

Dean Gayther has been removed from the database. His file has been posted to my thread: My Thread
If you're attached to his file, he will remain in your game until you change computers and download the game again.

Many new fighters (men + women) have been added recently. Basically, I've been updating the women boxers and checking the retired fighters. I'm currently on the middleweights.
Jackyle has been posting new fighters and updating the current crop of male fighters. MJ

Is Toshiaki Nishioka (WBC Super bantam champ) included in this update? I lost track of this guy but saw Steve Farhood had him as his top rated fighter @ 122. |

Also IceTea added Tex Cobb. Do they even have a rating for a chin of titanium? |

Hi guys..quick question for everyone,
When Timother Bradley fought for the 1st time at 147 in 2010 vs. Abregu, was he given a second rating @ WW? I almost remember Bradley having a WW rating for a bit, but I only currently have him as a 140 pounder on the latest database update. I could be wrong and if so, could one of the experts create a WW Bradley? I'd like to do some simming of a WW Bradley vs. Manny @ 147 and only request this because Bradley has a 147 pound fight. Thanks, guys! |

I may have issued him a 147 lb rating and then took it back. I'm not sure. The fight you refer to wasn't for a world title. Generally, I refrain from issuing ratings unless in a weight class unless it was for a world title or the fighter participated in significant fights in that weight class. At times, I still don't issue a rating if I believe that the lighter weight class rating would be realistic with the in-game adjustments when fighting in a higher class.
After his fight with the pac-man, Bradley will be issued a rating at WW. Is that fight at a catch weight? MJ

What you wrote about Tim @ WW makes sense, I honestly wasn't too impressed the last/only time he went to 147. He's not even a big puncher @ 140 so unless he's vastly improved or Manny is shot, I can't see Tim giving Manny too much trouble. Holt was even able to drop Tim @ 140. |

Thanks for the info, guys.
While we are kind of on topic, what is everyone's opinion on the in-game auto adjustments? There are very differing opinions on this. Some dont use auto adjust when its a jump from/to a JR weight class from the original. I have also thought, at times, that the in game adjustments in weight class jumps really weaken the fighter moving in weight. Do you guys think that using a JWW Bradley as a WW (letting the game adjust for the weight class difference) would give a good interpretation of his performance at 147? Another example...there is not a JFW verison of Donaire but would the BW Donaire fighting @ JFW (computer adjusted/fighting a JFW) be pretty accurate to what a seperate JFW rating represent? Thanks everyone! |
