storylines

I had storylines off for the longest time however when I switched over to OOTP 13 and imported my league i switched them back on in my league. After a full season at no point did I ever see a news story involving a story line.

Baffled by this.

Here's the text of a note that I just made for myself and for future questions like this which I think are going to just keep coming on this topic (the online manual needs to include this information):

Quote:
Storylines

These conditions are required to see storylines more frequently:
* control of team
* not delegating roster moves or transactions
* coaches and scouts on
* personality and morale on
* receiving league news
* receiving BNN news stories

Also, deleting storylines.dat in the saved game folder will refresh this file (the game creates another) when a program upgrade has replaced the default_storylines.xml file in the \Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 13\storylines folder.

There should be an option to import the storyline file but untill then delete the storyline.dat in your saved game folder and force the game to use the newest one

I'm not fretting about it, but I'm in the middle of my second season from an imported league with everything you've stated needing to be on, and I still haven't seen them. Not a big deal, just mentioning it.

I've only had one and it didn't involve my team. I had the one with the player refusing to stop tail gating with the fans.

I'm in my 11'th year with everything set that way and only had 1 interactive storyline (the one where the player has returned from India). I know they are there, they just don't seem very common.

Thanks everyone!

I used them in OOTP 12 in a league and remembered seeing a few a year pop up so I was baffled by this. Thanks again!

Can someone give me some examples on what an Interactive Storyline would be? I'm not sure if I've seen one yet or not. Btw how many of these storylines have you guys seen a season?(per average)
