This is a good community

Just wanted to give everyone a well-deserved pat on the back, developers and posters. A great percentage of you guys (and ladies) are helpful, supportive and friendly. Not just for the baseball game, but the boxing game, too. Some boards can be brutally negative, but not here. Happy to be a part of this group, in my own small way. OK, carry on with your happy weekends!

I second that, I've been a lurker on and off in these boards over the years. And I will say that I think the community had its ups and downs in the past. But now overall, it seems like the trolls have left and most people here seem to be helpful, humorous and constructive.

Agree.

I think it's the fact that we get to interact with Markus and crew so most thread's/posts are constructive.
There's just tons of good ideas, hints and help to make your game better.

To me the modders are the best part of the community. They have produced amazing works - logos and jerseys, facegen and photo packs, stadiums, you name it - and added so much value to the game by doing so that it's astonishing. And all that hard work was done just for the love of the game!

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Just to add to this, what amazes me about the mod guys is you can post a request and within a matter of an hour or two you get a reply and a professional logo, uniform etc without cost. Go to a professional designer and you wont get it as quick, it would cost an arm and a leg and still probably wouldn't be as good.

I could not agree more. This is easily the most helpful, and least snarky, message board I've been on.

Kudos to all.

Not always for agreement, though. Sometimes it's to pin somebody down for having made a particularly foolish or inflammatory remark that he or she wishes to edit later to save face. Too late, if someone has QFT'd it in their own post! Something to bear in mind, folks, before you click that Submit button.

From the Urban Dictionary:

A phrase used on internet forums. Use it when another user makes a post which describes your opinion about something so perfectly you just have to quote them in your own post, but don't know what to say about it. Often shortened to QFT or QTF.

This is how I meant it. I'll be careful for the other meaning.
