Financials, except salaries, are currently set to Modern although the starting year is 1950. Thinking of changing them to period financials? Thoughts?

Looks cool. I think financials that reflect the era make more sense... What do you mean by layered playoffs?

Thanks. It' will be the fruit of several other modders (grats!), the internet and my own creations.

Originally I had provided byes for the division winners, as in the NFL. But it seemed there weren't enough teams to justify the structure; 32 versus 24 in the UBL. So now there are four qualifiers per league; two winners and two wild cards. With byes half the teams advanced into the post season.

A major improvement with 13 has been, thanks to recalc, the muting of excessive offensive production during the 1st season of a league.

I'm experiencing some glitches with v13. The engine tends to reset the market size, fan loyalty and fan interest for the various organizations after a save. It's important that managing the small market teams proves challenging. Another is that SB success% remains a bit low for the early 50s and the percentage of Afro-Americans is too high for the Jackie Robinson era. Also, I've experienced a couple of crashes with the latest patch and some wandering player artefacts. We can be confident that Markus will work this out.

Possible erratum:
I'm told by a user that the team logos are not loading at the start. This may just be a one-off event but when creating a Quickstart the team logo folder, unlike the database, ballcaps and jersey folders, is not automatically included. Some kind of quirk. The logo folder was pasted into the UBL before zipping- it's there- but the team logos my require manual adding.

Is the v13 quickstart still available anywhere? The link above does not work and the newer version is not on the mods site.
