Any news on transferring saved games from 2011 to 2012?
Just wondering if that will be posted soon. I'm talking about transferring saved seasons to the 2012 version. It was suggested earlier that this could be easily done using a third part tool. Thanks.

What is the best 3rd party tool available at the moment to transfer files? I used the iPhone Exporer but it does not work anymore on Windows (for me at least)?
I will write it up as soon as I get a new tool.

I actually have a Mac. Don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks for checking it out.

You need to use IExplorer. It is the updated iPhone explorer.

Disclaimer: I write this as a private person and don't take responsibility for any errors that might happen (but it is pretty easy).
Here we go: 1. Download and install iExplorer: iExplorer - Formerly iPhone Explorer, is an iPhone browser for Mac and PC 2. Close both, iOOTP 2011 and iOOTP 2012 on your device (not only into the multitask bar, please close them completely!). 3. Connect your device to your Computer and start iExplorer. 4. Navigate to the "saved_games" folder in iOOTP 2011. It should look like this: 5. You will see a number of save_game folders. In my case 2, "Game 1.lg" and "Game 2.lg". 6. Now Drag & Drop the save you want to transfer to your computer desktop (or any location you want on your computer, just make sure you find it). 7. Now navigate to the "saved_game" folder in iOOTP 2012. 8. It looks like this: 9. You can see, I have 3 save games, "Game 1.lg", "Game 2.lg" and "Game 3.lg". 10. The save I want to transfer is "Game 1.lg" so I have to rename it first: rename the folder you just put on your computer using the next number available (in my case it becomes "Game 4.lg"). If the number of the save you want to transfer is free, just skip point 10 above. 11. Drag & Drop the save folder from your computer into the "save_folder" in iExplorer. After I did this I get: 12. Close iExplorer, unplug your device and start iOOTP 2012 13. In iOOTP 2012 select "Load Game" and you will see your transfered save. It is correct that only the save name is listed, the rest will be added after your first start. Thats it. Let me know if you need more detailed informations.

Awesome. Thanks a bunch. Now I can look forward to playing the new version. I couldn't give up on some of my saved seasons.

Are you able to do something similar for adding the Real Team Logos ? Or is there one of the guides that other users would recommend as being the easiest to follow Cheers |

Normally I want to stay away from logo stuff (for legal reasons) and I think a few good guides are available. Maybe someone else can help out, otherwise I will think off a solution.

Thanks Palli
Apologies if this puts you in a sticky position ... Enjoyed a thread in which it mentioned that to get optimum enjoyment from the game adding the real logos was a must - so I just wanted to try to get it right first time !! |

No problem. I think logos can bring the game experience to a new level so I understand why people put so much work into creating great logo sets and it is always something I add to (all) my game(s) as soon as possible.
This link should work pretty good: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...tructions.html
