MLB Logo?

When I do a quickstart game, the MLB logo is on the game menus. But when I start a historical league, the logo never shows up and a fake MLB icon is used instead. Is there a menu or button I can find that will allow me to choose the league logo?

Yes. You can go into league setup. There is a button at the bottom that says "Colors & Graphics". Choose the first option, which is to edit the league logo and colors.

Also, make sure that you copy the MLB logo into your OOTP13 logos folder. If you're using the PC version, this will be in your documents directory for OOTP13. If you have a logo named Major_League_Baseball.png in the logo folder, then that should automatically be copied over and used in your historical league folders when you create a new game.

Associations don't have logos in the game. At least as far as I've seen.

I have five minor leagues. I'm able to load custom made logos for each of them. But the major League logo resists updating and stubbornly remains generic.

You could just assign the logo yourself

It's probably a problem with how you named the file and where you're storing it before you create a saved game. It's not going to change after you create your saved game unless you manually load a new one.

Nope. It's properly spelled. And in this same folder with the rest of the custom logos.

Is it in C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 13\logos?

Is the file name major_league_baseball.png with underscores?

And you're creating a new league and it's not showing up?

Yes, Charlie. All the other logos, caps and jerseys are showing up fine. I'm trying to update the UBL league created for v12.

So is this a quickstart you're updating or something like that? Or are you recreating the UBL again from scratch? If it's a saved game, quickstart, or anything other than a new league creation, then the image file has to be in the news/html/images or whatever saved game folder is the right one. And I believe the structure for this was recently updated for OOTP13. So there is a league logos subfolder now in the saved game structure.
