Player Photos
Hi - I am new to the game.
Can anyone explain how to add player photos for MLB Teams? Are the photos available on this forum, etc.? Thanks for your help, Vince |

Do you plan to set up a current MLB league? If so, I would recommend Bigrod's hi-res photos: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-released.html
Place the extracted files into the "photos" folder. Then proceed with setting up your 2012 MLB league. NOTE: You can also download and install the all-in-one mod (available through Add-On Central). There is a link to Add-On Central at the bottom of the main OOTP13 startup screen. Install these add-ons before you set up the 2012 MLB league. Here's a screenshot featuring a hi-res photo: |

Hi:
Thanks so much for the quick reply. However, I cannot locate the "photo" folder. I can see a "skins" folder, etc. Should I create a "photo" folder? If so, do you know where (in which folder). Sorry to be a pain in the butt. Thanks, Vince |

Can you add photos to a league that has already been created? I'm about one week into the season.

Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 13\saved_games\[name of league].lg\news\html\images\profile_pictures Delete the photos inside the profile_pictures subfolder. Then add the new photos to the same subfolder. NOTE: Were you using Facegen photos? If so, you may need to delete them from the fg_files subfolder. If your using real pics, click on the game button and select "Preferences" on that page click the facegen tab and make sure the picture search mode is set to "search for photo first". Exit and restart. The pics should start showing in your game. As to when they show, depends on your settings under fictional pictures. To get there. Click the game button again and select "setup and options". On that page click the "Player and Picture Options" button. The setting are on the top right. I set mine like the screenshot below for real player pics. |

I assume the only down side to the high res photos is when the player switches teams, he will appear in the wrong uniform?

True, but I normally keep em updated to reflect such changes. I check at least once a week and grab em as soon as espn updates em. Or you can do it yourself. Get it from espn and then resize the canvas not the actual pic to exactly 170x255 and you'll be good to go.
