Ballpark Dimensions
I have enclosed one of my 10 fictional ballparks I am using from my simcity game in my OOTP league. Would someone like to help me determine the dimensions and capacity? These are to be smaller stadiums than MLB. If so, I will post some of the others.

I never thought that I'd use algebra again. It's just a matter of ratios. I measured the number of pixels from home plate to first base. Knowing that this distance is 90 feet, you can determine the other dimensions.
hp-1b = 78 pixels = 90 feet rf = 255 px = 294 ft lf = 172 px = 198 ft cf = 276 px = 318 ft rcf = 282 px = 325 ft lcf = 232 px = 267 ft As far a capacity, count the seats and then estimate the RF bleachers. CF was measured straight from 2B, not the deepest corner. |

great thoughts!
I know that the angle is not 100% straight on and I also know that things are not always perfect to scale in sim city, therefore I was hoping you would give me thoughts like these!
hp-1b = 78 pixels = 90 feet rf = 255 px = 294 ft lf = 172 px = 198 ft cf = 276 px = 318 ft rcf = 282 px = 325 ft lcf = 232 px = 267 ft I think I am going to add 60 feet to the measurements to get the following: rf = 294 ft + 60 = 354 lf = 198 ft +60 = 258 cf = 318 ft + 60 = 378 rcf = 325 ft + 60 = 385 lcf = 267 ft + 60 = 327 so the dimensions would be = 258-300-327-378-385-365-354 and capacity I am thinking 18,500 Thoughts????? would you like to help with my other parks? Let me know and Ill continue... |
