NUEBL Openings
The NUEBL is a great non-fictional league that started with the actual 2010 rosters. In the real world, the league has been ongoing since May of 2010. With just about 2 real-life under our belts, the league has an established group of GMs and a solid history. We are close to the start of the 2016 season, so now is a great time to join.

League details: The league has a unique sim schedule. We run 3-day sims every night of the week (don't worry, you aren't expected to export every sim). The co-commissioners do a fantastic job at ensuring a regular sim schedule. A NUEBL sim each day is almost as reliable as the sun coming up. Due to the frequent sims, we are fairly relaxed on export frequency...most owners probably export 4 or 5 times a week on average. The league features live rookie and Rule-5 drafts every year, a very modern up-to-date forum, and plenty of opportunities to shape your team however you may wish.

Scouting and coaching are turned on; the scouting is done on a 2-8 scale. This league closely mirrors real-life (even Houston will be playing in the AL West starting this season). The finances are done a bit differently. Your full financial balances carry over from year-to-year, meaning there is no cash given or taken away by the owner.

This league is pretty challenging! We have a lot of grizzled OOTP veterans in this league. We're looking for some dedicated GMs who will be around for the long haul. If you feel like you are up to the challenge, please email brian.eshbach@gmail.com

OPEN TEAMS:
Milwaukee Brewers - One of the strong NL teams. This team has been in the wildcard race the last few years.
Chicago Cubs - The Cubs have fallen on some hard times, but they have a decent farm system and some good young players on the ML roster to build upon.
Baltimore Orioles - This team needs lots and lots of work and a very patience GM. They have a couple good players, but overall this would be one of the more challenging teams to play as in the online OOTP world. This team will need a very patient GM as they are a long, long ways off.

2016 Opening Day is tomorrow night, both the Cubs and Orioles still open.

We have the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs open. The Cubs look to be on the upswing with some young talent; the Cards are a veteran club still with Albert Pujols.
