Interleague Play

I expanded the MLB to 32 teams, 16 in the AL 16 in the NL. Now when I try and generate a schedule it wont let me have interleague play on with balanced schedule.

Any way around this?

You need to do a little math to make sure the total number of games will allow for a balanced schedule.

I don't know. Maybe try this thread:

See if you can find a schedule that fits your needs.

Do you also have the same number of teams in each division?

Maybe that's the issue. Don't think you can create a balanced schedule without the same number of teams in each division.

How are your divisions setup?

There are pre-made schedules ready for a 32 team leagues in the schedules folder, interleague enabled, unbalanced. But you need to use the 4x4 setup in each subleague. Looks like there is one that would work for an 8x2 setup.

A balanced schedule requires the same number of games against every team in the league. A 32 team balanced schedule would be 124, 155, or 186 games, etc.
