Historical Play - Starting Pitchers, CG & Manager Strategy Settings

Does anyone else have starting pitchers in historical leagues with jacked up stamina? I'm trying to play seasons in the 90's and 2000's and 3 or 4 out of 5 starting pitchers on each staff have stamina of 17 or higher. And the strategy settings are weird too so that starting pitchers never get yanked.

Does anyone else have issues in historical play with starting pitchers in the 90's and 2000's having unrealistic stamina ratings of 17 or higher? And the strategy settings for game management by the managers are all whacked out too causing pitchers never to get pulled and throwing 150+ pitches in a game and ending up with 19 complete games.

A few things could be at work here, and it all has to do with your setup, do you have one year recalc or three? What setting did you choose for your pitcher's stamina rating, current season or entire career? Besides that, there are the game's strategy settings which allow your starters to have very high, high, low, and very low stamina.

Whenever I have created historical leagues I have always had pitchers throw too many pitches in a game at the default settings. I have no idea why. My leagues are typically in the 1970s or 1980s so I don't know why the default settings produce such high stamina.

I have tried one-year recalc and three. i've also tried current season and career. It seems like the AI managers default settings are prone to be very very slow to hook starting pitchers.
