Post innugural draft player placement

I'm wondering if it would be possible to either set all players in a Waivers/DFA state or place them on the minor league roster upon completion of the innaugural draft. If you draft any young prospects early in the innaugural draft, they are placed on your active roster as soon as the draft is complete. Then when you go to return them to the minors, they get upset. Given how the game includes a portion of morale in the way the player develops, this can hurt the development of the highly prized prospects that you have drafted.
