New Drafted Player Signing Bonus - Possible Issue

I drafted a player 2nd overall and offered him a signing bonus. He did not take my offer so I want to counter. Unfortunately, in the mail section, the Respond to Message button is greyed out and I cannot offer him a contract via the action button on the player card.

Anyone else run into this problem? How can I counter offer or offer what he wants...I have only made 1 offer?

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm afraid to continue too far because I don'r want to lose this player to the 2 month rule.

Simply go to the draft negotiation screen again. You cannot counter the offer from the mail screen.

Thanks Marcus for your reply - I just figured negotiating with them was like the other players - I'm good to go. Thanks again for top customer service.
