I can confirm, following the steps I posted earlier, they don't yet work as 'real' working feeder system. Please don't take that as a criticism though!
Can't wait for this patch that allows them to be added in that way. |

I have been also tried to make this roster set in the past. It is very time consuming to put every player in the NCAA in the set. That being said, if you need help I can assist with some teams. I have already started working on the Big Ten and Big XII

I think I've come up with a solid work-around to get these to work as feeders...please note: requires plenty of effort on your part! First, open up a saved game that you would like to add the NCAA universe to. Import the NCAA template. For your MLB or equivalent, add a college feeder league via button in the bottom right in League Setup. Go into the League Structure of the OOTP-generated college feeder league, delete all of the divisions. You might want to make sure OOTP didn't create players for the college feeder you created; if so you can go into the League menu, in the drop-down box is something like MLB College (all players)...I suggest deleting all of those players so you don't fill up your free agency world prematurely. Now, find the Edit League Structure button for Nutt's NCAA league, and move whichever teams/conferences through this interface over to the OOTP-generated college feeder league. I suggest creating empty divisions, and then moving teams from Nutt's NCAA to the OOTP-generated college feeder. You're basically rerouting Nutt's teams to the feeder league created by the game. This is the only way to get OOTP to say "Feeding League" instead of "Parent League". Lastly, if you're not using all 31 conferences provided by Nutt (totally understandable), delete all remaining players in Nutt's universe by finding all players in that league and mass deleting, then delete Nutt's NCAA league. Very important, ADJUST THE SCHEDULE after all team movement. Finally make sure you adjust your effected major-leagues draft, depending on the number of divisions/teams carried over, the game might try to generate 80 rounds for your draft! Also, set to 30-40 rounds and feeder players only, so that you maximize these guys exposure. I'm currently still running very early tests, but so far so good! FWIW, I neutered the NCAA universe a bit and only moved 15 conferences. I have an amazing computer, and OOTP 13 seems to handling the load fairly well.
Best of luck! Update: After a lot of finagling, tweaking, and waiting, I've managed to get Nutt's NCAA universe to work, using this method. I'm still running tests and I plan on adding JuCo and HS feeders as well, using this method. Although very cumbersome, this method appears to be the only way to convert Nutt's NCAA universe into useable feeder leagues. Last edited by Dr. P.R. Park III; 04-08-2012 at 08:39 AM. |

okay I have a question.
I added this league to my world and set parent league to MLB. Is this the wrong way to connect it?

Really looking forward to the ability to add this as a feeder league- has Markus spoken about a timeline for implementing in OOTP 13?
I sort of soured on OOTP the last couple years- but the temptation of being to add templates like this as a feeder league would make a purchase a no brainer....Here's hoping! |

Great work!
Should I tweak the stat output to replicate the new bats in NCAA (HS are using BBCOR this year too) or is the stats ok from the start? Stats should look like rookie ball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by SirMichaelJordan; 04-15-2012 at 02:52 PM. |

Are there any mirrors to download this? I've tried twice now and both times it has stopped and never resumed.

Get it from in the game. Just click on add-ons central link from the opening screen or in game, click "game button" and select it there. You'll find it in there. It's Nutts formation all in one mod or several of the other choices of his. If it doesn't show up, just click reload addons list and it should show.

having trouble using this mod
"First, open up a saved game that you would like to add the NCAA universe to. Import the NCAA template."
Okay, so does it have to be a template? I put it in the "saved_games" folder, but then I can't figure out how to import. Is there some way of importing the league that I'm missing, or does it simply have to be a template? |

start a custom game and load the template
For those having trouble importing it's because the saved game file is for OOTP 12, placed that into the saved game folder for 12 then open 13 and chose import game, navigate to that folder and select the world.dat and import and boom NCAA in OOTP 13 |

Ohh, my bad. I've got OOTP 11. Is there a version of this NCAA universe for 11?

I'm slowly but surely adding the players to the game. I've completed most of the ACC and America East teams, full with stats. Also, once I merge it and the patch allows it to be feeded into the game, I will add current MLB and MiLB players stats.
