Cant offer contract extentisons
I am playing in the 1940s and i cant offer contract extentsions during the season. However in my 2012 franchise i can offer extentsions

You probably have don't have Free Agency in your 1940 league, therefore all contracts are extended automatically.

What do you mean i dont have free agency? I can release players and offer them contracts then.
