Real logos?

All,

How do I install real logos in this game?

I downloaded something called '2012 All in One Mod" think it meant I would get all the logos but it didn't.

What am I missing? I hope this is the right place to ask and not in the mod forum

Now that you've downloaded them, have you clicked the Install option next to it in Add-On Central? You'll need to do that and then create a new MLB quickstart.

Others who do this regularly may chime in and help you step by step, but IIRC, that's the initial basics. But after install it should be a breeze, that's why it's all in one!

Yeah, I did an install but I already have a game in progress. Is it possible to add the logos after I have a season in progress?

I downloaded a face mod and that seemed to work fine.

Should be a way to finesse that, but I'd read it needs to grab them on creation. Let me see if there's another way into it. Back at ya.

I've only been able to do the All In One Mod before league creation except for the ballpark.

Checking. If you're not too far in, yeah, start over, but I'm thinking there's a way to just move those logos into your league folder after you close the game and then when it does load it should load the logos with it. Have to see where those locations are to make sure, though. We'll figure it out one way or the other.

Looks like they go here now, LOVE THIS! It was always a pain putting in new logos before since everything used to go into the "images" folder.

Ok, where do I go to get all the new logos? Or where do I copy it from?

From looking at that folder, it seems like there are different sizes. Are all these logos created when a new game is being formed?

I use DCHelper25's and he has the new ones for 2012 listed in the mods forum.

You can probably also get some from the built in "add on central" after downloading them click on install.

I am assuming I need to rename those teams to the appropriate name

Yeah, they'll need to match the logo name and I think Bigrod has posted something to the effect that the underscore probably needs removed.

Ok i'm having the same problem with the logos. I made and MLB formatted/fictional players universe. Downloaded the AllInOne and clicked install. Exited the game and came back and still no real logos. Do i need to go start an MLB Quickstart, do this process again and then come back to my MLB Fictional for things to work, or start completely new?

Hang on guys you don't need to start a new game to get logos working, I just got to remember the steps to do it. This is where an update all logos option on the league setup page would be helpful. Seems like you can mass update everything from there except logos..never could figure that out.
Well that was easy, go to your saved_games\your saved game\news\html\images\team_logos folder and delete everything. Start the game and it'll reload all logos from the data\logos folder and place them in the team logos folder. Same steps for League logos and they are in the league_logos folder. Worked like a charm for me. Took 30 secs flat. Note just in case it don't work for you, send those logos to the recycle bin so you can restore them if need be. Clean the recycle bin before you delete though.

Yes they do, they just go into different folders on Mac, but if you install from download central they should do that automatically I believe.
