Currently, it is not a part of the release plans. There just wasn't time, but I have asked for an update as to whether this can be revisited prior to the release or the first patches.

Which sucks, because it's not like it's some new thing that just popped up on the radar at the last minute. This has been a complaint for at least the last 5 years.

Yep, and trust me the lobbying continues. IIRC, you were part of the original beta team that was nearly unanimous in its support for the change.

Sure it'll get in, just a matter of time. Now IRS% is another story...

I am relatively new to baseball here in the UK - would it be a silly question to ask if someone could briefly outline the roles that each below take? Thanks

The Owner holds the purse strings. The team is his toy. Most owners just give general instructions to their GM as to their preferences and set the budget. Some are more involved. Some less.

The General Manager runs the business side of things...like player acquisition and trades.

The Manager is the guy in the dugout with the players who runs each game.

Owner: owns the team. Decides how big the budget will be, stuff like that.

GM: In charge of player transactions, contracts, trades, promotion/demotion, when to put players on the DL... stuff like that.

Manager (think head coach): Day to day running of the the team. lineups, batting order, pitcher rotation, team strategy...
