Saved games file is zipped?

So I had this game on our Mac. That computer was just being used until I fixed my PC though.

Now that it is fixed, I saved the .lg file onto a stick and transfertred it to the computer. But when I went to add the file to my saved games folder on the PC, it came up as a zipped file...instead of a folder.

How do I get that season onto this computer?

EDIT - NM, the files are .tar but still have no idea

nevermind guys! figured it out, was looking in wrong directory!
