Post Rollover bug

I found an interesting bug with ERA. I imported the 1916 teams from Lahman's and took the Red Sox and have been simming each season with adding the real rookies each year and drafting them. There was a player who was a marginal rookie imported who is all of a sudden starting for another team and man he stunk it up one year. He went like 300+ innings, 500+ hits allowed, 100+ homers allowed. The thing is it shows him having given up 3 earned runs and he has an era of 0.09 so it's really screwed up my records. The earned runs must roll over at a very high number (like 300 or so) because his era really has to be like 9ish.

Game only allows for numbers up to 256(I think) in certain areas, this is a know limitation of the game.

actually the limit is 255... (0-255 are the 256 numbers that fit the field)... use the Player Editor to edit the statistics and you can fix this.

Similarly this is why in the injury file 255 is career ending, and 254 season ending... anything less is the number of days the injury is effective.
