Talent-only evaluations

Hi Guys,

Recently joined a talent-only league and I'm wondering the best way to evaluate my players. Obviously stats is one way. That is useful for players staying in the same level, it gives me a baseline. What about prospects? I know a guy hitting .300 at AAA is more than likely not going to hit .300 in the Majors, but if his potential suggest he could some day be a good hitter in the Majors, is there another way to evaluate?

Just wondering what everybody does besides stats for talent-only leagues? I really like the concept, but I'm having trouble figuring out which players I should be using.
