Haven't run into this yet - we are using this set for a league I'm in and there are ST games scheduled... I'm not sure if there's a workaround other than adding them in manually (you can do this in the edit schedule screen).

Lastly, new file out - hoping this weekend - with finished ZIPS reratings, top 10s for prospects for everyone and updated transactions. If you see any other little errors, please let us know... this may be the last one for a while before I dig into OOTP13.

Do you anticipate all of the teams will have updated ZIPS ratings by then? Or are you thinking you'll do what's available, and not update the final few teams.

Hoping so! Just looked and it looks like almost all are done, crossing fingers that they'll be finished this weekend.

A couple of minor roster issues I haven't seen posted: Yamaico Navarro is now with Pittsburgh, not Kansas City. Jason Kendall is not with Kansas City either; he's a free agent (retired?).

Probably comes from a result of the initial league not including minors (which I tacked on later)... thus the game is only generating enough to fill the ML league. Will let you guys know.

For those who already aren't at the draft, you should be able to adjust the amount of rounds it generates when you first load the file before the class is generated (to those that have already had the draft generated, I know that doesn't help much).

And there is no adjusting menu "Generate Players for X Rounds"

In regards to the Damaso Marte and Justin Ruggiano, problems, I doubt it matters much now, anyways. Marte is a free agent and Ruggiano signed a minor league deal with the Astros.

Great news! There were double historical players in the set, managed to remove duplicates. Should cut down on file size tremendously (and help clean things up in general).

Nice, also look at Lance Berkman's contract. Has something like a 7-8 yr deal, in reality its 1/$12 Mill.

Also some contracts have an extra year on them, like Teixeira and Sabathia I think. Might want to look into thoe if you have time.

Few things I ran into:

Angels Reliever Francisco M Rodriguez's contract was way off after the first year.

Yankees SP Prospect Jose Campos was missing, as well as Red Sox Matt Barnes, and Cubs SP Gerardo Concepcion.

Quick note: I'm an idiot. Easy fix for draft not generating enough players - when I imported the 2012 MLB league, I didn't turn off all of the stuff pertaining to historical leagues. Thus it is trying to generate a "historical" draft class for 2012-2013 (there is none).

This will be fixed in next/final release, but for now, you can go to:

OOTP, Game Setup
League Setup tab
Historical Tab
Uncheck all selections

You can now go to the Rules tab, and change the rounds to generate talent from 10 to 30. Sorry about that guys, glaring omission!

when i unzip the file...the World weather and teams is a Document rather than a Unix Executable File....im on a mac does this have to do with it?

Also MLB draft Rounds set to 50 and Expanded to 70 so you can get like the people who were signed to Minor League Contract and be available for Spring Training. You got to make shere Spring Training Games are checked for it to happen.

Nevermind. My error, I had not finished the version update.

i've got a season replay ready to go, but when i click "opening day" i get a warning saying at Reading has an illegal # of players.

i've added players (as many as five) and subtracted down to zero, but i get the same warning.

i'm only running 35 players per team, so i can't go much lower or higher than that # in AA.

any suggestions?

New file heading up! Stadiums have been fixed (park factors added to all, dimensions, accurate seating, etc.), ZiPS is updated through all teams that are out there (I think most are out now), and the problem with the amateur draft is fixed. Post the link here in about 30.

Only thing to do still is top 10 prospects for the AL. Work is getting intense helping out the beta team with some things for the OOTP13 rosters, so I may not have time to do that. Apologies but TBD. May knock it out in one of these upcoming weekends still.

2012 CubbyFan Rosters, v3.0 (final file with all fixes)

- Fixed all stadium issues
- Removed duplicate retired players
- Fixed draft issue, not having enough draftees
- Updated roster moves to February 13, 2012
- Fixed some off salaries (Berkman, etc.)
- Updated ratings on remaining ZiPS projections

Cubby, thanks again for all the work you do. Try releasing Marte from the Yankees, he shows up as released, no team logo on his hat, but stays on the Yankees roster with his name being the team hes on.
