IOSBL Has One Opening

The Invitation Only Sports Baseball League is ending its first season. We are a 32 team fantasy baseball league that uses OOTP5 and sims one week on M-W-F of every week. We currently have one opening - Memphis Blues. Please visit the site and if interested, contact me at commissioner@invitationonlysports.com for more information. Many of the features available to owners on the site can only be seen by our owners, but we use BOSI and OOTP History. You are required to own OOTP5 and to have a PM program account of some kind (AOL, Yahoo, etc.).

Am I the only one that finds it funny that the "Invitation Only" baseball league is advertising for someone to please choose them?

Thanks for not missing the subtle humor

We are a fun league of primarily 30+ year old fellows who want a serious OOTP fantasy baseball experience but don't have the time to devote every waking hour to league activities. I'm from the CommishJoe school of OOTP online league management in that sense.

And all leagues are invitation-only as far as I can tell. People ask to join, you say yea or nay, and they become members or are sent on their merry way. We are, in fact , involved in "...the requesting of a person's company; as, an invitation to a party, to a dinner, or to visit a friend."

Chris is a great commish, and the league is top notch... for those looking for league where people don't 'disappear,' this is the place to be.

(The lowly Boxer's won't make this year's playoffs, so my brown-nosing won't help me now!)

We've finished our regular season and are into the playoffs. We're looking for two new owners. We have six openings, but we want to contract the league from 32 to 28, but will have to go to 26 if we don't find two new owners by this weekend. Contact me if interested.
