Locking up in trade window

Hello I was just checking to see if this was a known Issue.

I have an issue where sometimes (random when it happens could be the first trade processed could be the third) on OOTP 5.1 the game completely locks up where I cant even end task it. I have to completely reboot my PC.

Now this started on Windows ME and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. So I wanted to upgrade to windows XP anyways and hoped that would fix the problem.

Well no luck I still get the crash during the trade window even if I only add one or two players. It's not the 5 player lock up I've found in the search database.

My PC currently has Windows XP with Direct X 9

I have 27.4 GIG free. 1 Gig Processor with 384 mb of RAM.

Any suggestions I would sure appreciate it... It makes it a bit hard to process trades in your online league.

Oh and I do have the Sound and Video cards updated to the most recent drivers along with the ingame sound disabled.

Do you have anythingelse open or running at the time? I have XP and can have a number of windows and programs open and not have an issue. But I have more RAM. Give me a few more details please.

I have I.E. minimized and sometimes AOL IM... On my bottom start menu is Norton, Win Amp, AOL IM.

Just did it again on the very first trade. I added two players and then bam lock up. It dosen't do it anywhere else except in the trade window and never seamed to do it before I upgraded to the 5.1 patch. I can minimize the game but cant close it or anything I have to reboot the PC to get it away.

Try turning Norton off and see if that helps, it has helped others with different issues.
