OOTP 12 was backwards compatible with OOTP 11, and it would only make sense for 13 to be that way with 12. There are a lot of OOTP online leagues out there and this allows those leagues to continue and upgrade.

Cubby will this be released today or tonight? Just curious is all, I have to work third shift tonight. Either way I will probably get to it tomorrow anyways. It is exciting though. Thanks for your excellent hard work.

I played with this roster yesterday, and tried to load it today, and it said it was corrupt or something. If this isnt going to work and I just wasted money, I wont be happy

Oh, I think I see what you are asking. I misunderstood the first time. Yes, this file is for OOTP 12. You won't need 13 to use this file.

Hopefully we'll get the file tonight still. I saw that the zips projections were only about half done. In the meantime, does anyone have any good fictional quickstarts to play with?

The Kalama quickstart is great, I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the recommendation! I I love your post about your wife thinking that the game is called Kalama, not OOTP lol. My wife still doesn't understand the game and I have been playing OOTP since it was Season Ticket Baseball on CD ROM.

If you look back at the last several release dates, he's very rarely meeting the release dates he tosses out there. Not intended as a knock on him or whatever, putting these things together are monstrous projects, but I always mentally add at least 2-3 days to whatever release date he mentions in a post ... especially when that release date has the AFC and NFC Championship Games.

I put them out there as a target but obviously things change. Especially when you're a 49ers fan. Around a large supply of alcohol.

Almost wrapped things up last night but I was too pooped to finish it up. Doing final touches on the long-term salaries signed so far and then the set will be up. Should be tonight but don't want to make any promises.

Growing up in St. Louis, we didn't have a team here when I was a kid (I missed the Cardinals, grew up before the Rams) so latched onto the 9ers.

Good news: only 7 unreleased teams in ZiPS, 4 in BA's top 10, so we are also close to a finished copy of the rosters!
