Sacramento Team Name Change

I would like someone to come up with a fresh name and logo for my Sacramento based team (unis and hats would be nice, but not necessary).

During my sim I have been the GM of the Sacramento Gold Sox and for the past 5 years I have made the playoffs and been knocked out in the first round (3 of those years had the best record in the league)... so I am thinking of starting this season with a new look. Rebranding hoping it will bring good luck and a Championship.

Some names I have come up with are the Miners, Nuggets, Scorpions, but I am not limited to those colors. My current color scheme is Gold and black with a hint of red, so I'd like something non-gold.

Spartans
Spiders

Summits
Snowcaps

Sidekicks
Sting
Swarm

And then there's always the name of the old PCL team, the Solons, if you wanted to give it a historical feel. Or you could borrow from their former WLAF team, the Surge.

I sort of like the way the "Sacramento Spartans" sounds. Just need to come up with a cool logo, maybe the San Jose State Spartan. Not a big fan of the black/green of the MSU one.

If someone feels up to making a jersey and hat combo using the San Jose State Spartan, that would rock.

Liked the Spartans Jersey, but personally I would go with the name Solons (its history!) So I made a jersey. I was planning on going with the original logo, but I saw this concept logo online and I liked it so there you go.

Also thought I'd share made a Spartans logo, which is going to be my minor league team from Norfolk, as well as a generic one. I am not a great logo maker, but seem to be able to hack my way around.
