And did a more or less accurate decade by decade ethicities text awhile back. I wonder how hard it would be add something like that into the game.

Lots of nice new features; I'll be buying it for sure. The stories sound great, and I look forward to seeing the new widget/broadcast UI. But I thought I'd read something about a more radical redesign of play-by-play mode. In particular:

1. Might there be a feature to "sim til the next baserunner"? I always dread simming even a half-inning, for fear of a 5-run half-inning.

2. I thought I read somewhere that you plan something more visually appealing for play-by-play, with more than just the animation of a baseball moving from home plate to somewhere in the field. Maybe I read wrong?

3. More generally, will we have any more decisions to make when playing out games, or it will be pretty much as it is now (which is OK but doesn't quite scratch my tactical-baseball itch).

Favorite feature by far

Improved pitcher creation & development. OOTP 13 creates fewer pure relievers for the draft. More pitchers are generated with the potential to become starters. Not all pitchers will capitalize on their potential, though; failure to develop an off-speed pitch or build stamina may necessitate a move to the pen.

Got so sick of toying around with people who could clearly be potential starters (17-18-15 type stats with a 15 stamina) but only had two pitches.

ALSO as far as teams of different leagues in an association meeting each other in an additional playoff setting will those stats be added to their post season stats that year?? Or just left out of their stats page.

I was not trying to troll and apologize if that appears to be my intention.

(1) I thought it would be helpful to have them all in one place, (2) others who may not have seen my other thread and may only be looking at looking to purchase OOTP13 and are interested in the new features could see the progress here.

I am very thankful at the DH issue being resolved and like I said, am purchasing at least two copies at full price.

So, can you finally trade part or all of a contract when trading in 13? Like how the mets paid for a large portion of Carlos Beltrans contract in order to get better prospects? Because I find it annoying to trade with the worst teams in the league with players near free agency that cost way more than my budget can afford, but I can't acquire the desired player because there is no way to do that in 12 currently.

The simplest fix is a reverse human team colors like FM has. So say the cards are red and white if AI and the Reds are white and red if human. Never really saw the use for it in FM, although if you play in 2D it might be quite handy, seems like an easy solution here though.

Hi Rick!

Unfortunately, this is not easily possible

In many places, the bigger font will not fit, even when the screen resolution is bigger because the elements are fixed in size.

Out of all those features I saw NOTHING that states there will be ANIMATED GRAPHICS of the players and during the game as I was led to believe in previous threads? I WANT TO SEE A SCREENS OF THE ANIMATIONS OF THE GAME....put something on YOUTUBE. If there are no REASONABLE animated graphics I and my mates won't be buying this edition. Tired of buying the same old thing with just html improvements and more silly stat pages. I want to play a baseball game NOT READ A NEWSPAPER.
