I wanted to create a league with 40 teams.
There are a couple of bugs that come up during this: 1) The schedule page cannot fit every game, so a few games run off the screen and cannot be played without using the drop down menu to sim the entire day. While it is annoying, there is a work around. 2) Free Agent signing and amateur draft menus are incomplete. Again this is a screen fitting problem. Seems to me this could easily be fixed by decreasing the leading (the space between lines of type). If all teams are human controlled, there is no work around. You simply cannot sign Free Agents because you cannot select the bottom 4 or 5 teams. The following are not necessarily associated with 40 team seasons: 3) When restructuring a league (moving a teams to different divisions), not all of the team's files are moved correctly. The page I noticed was the team's financial history. But I think there has been mention of other pages not updating correctly. There maybe a work around by trying to rename the files to the proper teams, but it seems like something you guys could fix easily, rather than us updating our files with each move. 4) More of a desing flaw then a bug: Let me start by saying I never understood the team's password feature. Is it meant only to prevent a rival owner from sending a line-up in from the wrong team? If that is the reason, then why not put the password on the Export, not on the team pages. How am I supposed to see a team's minor leagues and Trade Block if I am denied access to their pages? If it is meant to block me from seeing their coaching strategies (line-ups, depth charts and rotations) then password those pages only. If it is meant to keep me from seeing the league through thier scout's eyes, then how about a login password to enter the whole league, that is unique to my team, and what ever page I view from then on will be from my team's point of view. I love the game. I know your all busy. Could we at the very least get a little acknowledgement on some of these issues? Even a quick "sorry, thats too complicated to fix for 4.0, look for it in version 5.0" type post. Thanks - Molson |

I know that 1, 2, and 3 have been discussed multiple times and am pretty sure that Markus and Steve are aware of some of the game's limitations with extremely large leagues and the residual effects of transferring teams from leagues/divisions. For 4, the password protection is used so that you cannot see other teams rosters through the eyes of a potentially better scout. I'm not sure of the design of the passwords, so I don't know if it is possible to implement the way you've suggestd.
