Roster Problems - Early Years

I've been messing around with the game simming and testing some things out before getting too involved. So much to do and don't know where to start.

Anyways. I'm sure it's been on here before but I'm having problems with earlier teams keeping full rosters.

So...
1) Anyone know what year September call-ups actually started?
2) When were full minor league teams assembled down to A level?
3) Does turning off September call-ups fix the problem?
4) Does using fictional players in the minors, and not allowing them to join the majors help too?

I'm still used to Baseball Mogul being so bland compared to this.

khy102, it looks as if you are asking the question in the wrong forum. This is for the iPad iPhone version . . . more people with good answers for you will be found on the ootp (no "i") forum.

This version is simplified to work with less memory, so some of the features you write about are only on the laptop version.
