MLB database with less minor league teams?
I wanted to play a MLB career using less minor league teams, specifically without the rookie and full single A teams.
I tried using a standard major league game and deleting these but that resulted in a bunch of free agents, many 4-5 star who I would like to be in the minor league system of their major teams. I then tried a custom league but then all of the players are randomized. Is there a different way I should be setting this up or is there any database that I can download that has the real MLB rosters but with less minor league teams? thanks. |

I had the same situation - too many minor leagues - so I deleted most of the Class A and Rookie leagues. That resulted in nearly 3400 free agents. I ran the sim for 1 day, about 35 free agents were picked up, and then I mass deleted the remaining ones.

OK, thanks. I've gone into commissioner mode and went to each team and moved 2+ star players to other minor league teams, then deleted all remaining players on each rookie and short single A team; then went into league and deleted these team.
